Its the 45th anniversary of the seven emirates of Dubai this 2nd of December 2016 and it feels good to be part of it. This is not a celebration of independence from the British Protectorate Treaties, its the anniversary of the unification of the seven emirates that form the country…yeaaaah…i got that from wikipedia πŸ˜€

One thing that i have noticed is,all this people love their country so much, their houses are covered with the UAE flags, all hotels, restaurants, malls, banks and houses. I mean compared to other countries like mine :-/ we’ve never covered our house with our flag, even just the window πŸ˜€ but we are proud of our history and our country, maybe we just celebrate differently πŸ™‚

Different competitions within business units take place for the UAE  culture presentation, we also had one but we came 3rd place within the hotel 😦 .

OK, I feel like i want to preach to you right now,i really do but i have to get the correct attire

I really look like a catholic priest πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ , this is a traditional attire for the Emirati women worn by most locals. Not all of them have the colors of the flag as the one i have worn πŸ˜€ That would be interesting actually, its like wearing your flag every single day :-/, but this was designed for the national day thus the representation of the flag.

As for around the country there will be some fireworks display, arabian concerts, arabian delicacies, Dubai police band performance, camel marathon πŸ˜€ this cracks me up,Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens at the Sevens Staduim and one more thing free Wi Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I love free Wi Fi πŸ˜‰

I wish all the Emirates a happy 45th national day!!!!!

The mass is over πŸ˜€ Lets go home πŸ˜€

OK, that’s it.Bye.
